The evening, which celebrated the recent merger between Harrison Drury and Chenery Maher Solicitors, saw 80 attendees from local businesses, clients and members of the community.
Harrison Drury merged with law firm Chenery Maher at the end of last year, boosting its team in Clitheroe to 20 staff.
Guests on the evening were treated to a host of performances from the firm’s resident rock group ‘Harrison Fury’ as well as Westholme’s Swing Band.
Ed Stanley, director at Harrison Drury, said: “The evening was an opportunity to introduce our new look Clitheroe team and celebrate our aspirations for the future while raising money for a great cause. Age UK is a charity that’s close to many of our staff and clients so it’s a pleasure to support its fantastic work.”
Attendees were invited to make a donation towards the local branch of Age UK, a charity which works to tackle loneliness felt by older people.
The charity is dependent on the generous support of the local area. The £720 collected from the evening and the firms other fundraising initiatives will help the charity to carry on helping everyone make the most of later life.
