We have boosted our team by appointing a Deputy District Judge as a consultant in our litigation department.
Amanda Webster, who is a Deputy District Judge and also the Deputy Sheriff of Lancashire, will work part-time with the team while still carrying out her judicial duties.
Amanda will oversee our litigation services and manage major litigation projects.
Amanda graduated from Chester College of Law and qualified as a solicitor in 1987. Prior to joining Harrison Drury she spent 15 years at Brabners Chaffe Street where she first worked with our Managing Partner, John Chesworth.
After 13 years as a partner at Brabners she joined the Manchester office of national law firm DWF until she left to concentrate on her duties as a Deputy District Judge.
Amanda has also been the Deputy Sheriff of Lancashire for the last ten years and is also an independent member of Lancashire Police Authority.
We think it is a major coup to appoint someone of Amanda’s calibre. With 22 years experience as a solicitor, coupled with her background as a judge in the civil courts, Amanda is going to prove invaluable to us and our clients.
Harrison Drury blog rocks!
