Harrison Drury’s property team has advised structural and civil engineering specialist Thomas Consulting Limited on its lease of new premises in Shrewsbury.
Thomas Consulting has moved its Shropshire and mid Wales office from Telford to a new office in the Alaska Building on Shrewsbury Business Park.
Shrewsbury Business Park is a developing 30-acre £25million site that currently houses around 30 businesses.
The move comes as part of Thomas Consulting’s continued expansion and will accommodate the firm’s growing team.
The new office is situated next to the A5 trunk road and close to the M54 motorway. Shrewsbury office director, John Sumner said: “The new location will improve accessibility to established clients and allow us to increase our prominence as a ‘one stop shop’, providing construction engineering consultancy and design services.”
Simon England, associate solicitor with Harrison Drury’s property team, said: “Thomas Consulting is a long established firm which has built up a reputation for quality services in structural and civil engineering.
“The move is part of the continued implementation of customer and workplace improvements which will ensure that the business is better placed to expand in the long term.”
Thomas Consulting Managing Director, David Wyatt said “Harrison Drury provided a first class service and enabled us to keep on programme with this very important move for Thomas Consulting.”
Thomas Consulting was established in Wellington, Telford in 1979 and now has three offices, including sites in Lancaster and Chorley. The company is involved in a range of projects from refurbishments to large scale housing developments.
