Clare Davey

Commercial PropertyClare joined Harrison Drury in 2022 and hasn’t looked back since. Clare is a local lass who attended Queen Elizabeth School, Kirkby Lonsdale and then completed her A-Levels at Lancaster Girls Grammar School. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 LLB Honours in Law and then completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School attaining a commendation. Clare qualified as a solicitor in 2003. Clare then gained her dual qualification in Scots law in 2015 but currently is non-practising in Scots law element.
Clare represents everyone involved in commercial property, from individuals who own extra land, to development companies with portfolios of properties. Clare has a range of experience in property acquisitions and disposal, re-finance, commercial landlord and tenant including deeds of variation and development work including option and overage agreements and grants and releases of easements to name a few.
Outside of work you can find me…
Clare has two children and so when not working, dons her personal assistant, chauffeur, confidante and nurse’s hat just like all other working parents. When time allows, Clare enjoys catching up with friends, (preferably with good food and wine) and attending live music events and shows.
In the past Clare has been a keen rugby union player, but now doesn’t know if the aches and pains are “war wounds” or just getting old. She now concentrates on supporting England Rugby, when the men’s side decide to turn up, and supports the women’s side unconditionally. Clare is married to an avid Liverpool Football Club fan and so over the past 20 years feels like she too has been on the roller coaster of the club’s “journey” so far. Her children now are also fans and so there seems little respite.
