Wills, Trusts and ProbateBethany advises on a broad range of Wills, Trusts and Probate matters, including the preparation of Wills, estate and tax planning, and the creation and administration of trusts. She also assists clients with Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters, covering both financial affairs and health and welfare decisions.
Her experience includes the administration of both testate and intestate estates, with a particular focus on taxable estates, inheritance tax relief claims and negotiations with HM Revenue & Customs. Bethany also advises on related matters such as obtaining urgent and limited Grants of Representation and preparing Deeds of Variation.
Bethany acts for both settlors and trustees on a variety of trust matters, including trust registration requirements and the management of periodic charges.
Taking a practical and client-focused approach, Bethany works closely with individuals and families to understand their circumstances and provide clear, tailored advice. She has been a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since February 2024.
Outside of work you can find me…
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys an active and social lifestyle, with a particular interest in hiking, especially in the beautiful Lake District, as well as travelling and exploring new places and trying out different activities. She also enjoys reading, wine tasting and spending time with friends and family.
