Terina Kiss

Terina is a Partner in the Family Law team at Harrison Drury and a highly experienced family lawyer, litigator and advocate with more than 15 years’ experience advising individuals and families on complex and sensitive legal matters. She specialises in financial remedy proceedings, private children disputes, cohabitation disputes, domestic abuse litigation, pre and post-nuptial agreements, and claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA). Terina regularly acts for high-net-worth individuals, business owners, professionals, members of the Armed Forces and police officers, providing pragmatic advice, tailored solutions and robust representation both in and out of court.

Known for her strategic and client-focused approach, Terina works closely with clients to navigate challenging circumstances and achieve practical, long-term outcomes. She is committed to providing clear, straightforward advice and guiding clients through every stage of the process with confidence and sensitivity.

Before specialising in family law, Terina gained extensive experience advising on complex legal, regulatory and operational matters within policing and public sector environments. As a former Police Legal Adviser, she advised on a broad range of issues including human rights, data protection, safeguarding, criminal justice processes and covert policing matters. Alongside her client work, Terina has held senior leadership positions including Director, Head of Department and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice.

Terina is a qualified Litigator and Advocate, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx), and a non-practising Barrister affiliated with Lincoln’s Inn, London.

Outside of work you can find me…

Outside of work, Terina enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and attends the gym most mornings before work. She also has a long-standing passion for martial arts and holds a black belt in karate. Having represented both England and Great Britain at international level, she achieved significant success in competition, including becoming a two-time European Champion.

Away from the office, Terina enjoys travelling and skiing and is always looking for opportunities to combine the two. She has a passion for adventure and exploring new places, whether on the slopes or further afield.

A keen motorcyclist, Terina enjoys both road riding and off-road motocross, including green laning, and is always planning her next adventure. The discipline, resilience and determination she has developed through her sporting achievements and hobbies continue to shape her approach to both life and work.
