Harrison Drury has appointed associate solicitor Sarah Brough to join its growing team in Manchester.

Sarah joins from Forbes, where she spent three years as a solicitor, and will be part of our fast-expanding corporate team.

She will advise clients on a wide range of corporate matters and transactional work, with a key focus on healthcare and education. This includes advising SME businesses, investors and management teams on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions.

Sarah will guide clients through complex deals and provide support through the entire corporate lifecycle, from formation and growth to investment and eventual exit.

Her appointment comes shortly after we announced our move to a larger office at Cornerblock in Manchester, just twelve months after establishing a presence in the city.

Sarah Brough and Rick Life.

Rick Life, partner in our corporate team and head of our Manchester office, said: “We’re looking forward to Sarah coming on board, her specialist knowledge in sectors like healthcare and education is where we’re seeing real demand at present and it’s great to welcome someone with her experience into the team.

“It’s an exciting time for our Manchester office, and appointing Sarah is another big step in building out a dynamic team that can support our clients through every phase of their journey.”

Sarah adds: “It’s a great time to be joining Harrison Drury, with the Manchester office going from strength to strength. The firm has a fantastic reputation for corporate work, but what really stood out to me was the culture and values.

“I’m committed to supporting the continued growth of the corporate team and making a meaningful impact on the businesses we serve in the North West.”

We recently made a number of senior appointments in our Manchester office in recent months, including Jennifer Murphy in the corporate team and Nicole Chadwick in the wills, trusts and probate team.
