Robert Orkney

Professional Background:

Rob undertook his undergraduate degree at Edge Hill University before completing his LPC at UCLAN. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, and prior to joining Harrison Drury, Rob began employment with DWF LLP working within the insurance sector for 2 and a half years.

Rob qualified in 2021 into our Corporate team. Rob has experience in advising, drafting and reviewing a range of commercial contracts, including:

• Franchise Agreements;
• Terms and Conditions for the sale of goods and/or supply of services;
• Consumer Terms and Conditions and Contracts;
• Intellectual Property;
• Distribution Agreements;
• Software Development and Maintenance Agreements/Licences; and
• Services Agreements

Personal Interests:

Rob is a huge football fan with a particular fondness, often ending in disappointment, for  Newcastle United. He tries  to attend as many games on the road as possible.

Music is a big part of Robs’ life having attended several gigs over the years. Sounds from the 60’s, 70’s and 90’s are a particular highlight with an abundance of records and CD’s clogging up the spare room, much to his wife’s delight!

Having been fortunate enough to have visited several countries across the world, he also has a huge interest in experiencing the differing cultures and cuisines on offer, particularly that of an Italian persuasion.
