Harrison Drury has been crowned Legal Business of the Year at one of Lancashire’s leading business awards ceremonies.

The firm triumphed at the Red Rose Awards 2020 held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens last night. It is the second time Harrison Drury has won in the legal category, having also claimed the prize in 2017.

The award comes following a year of outstanding client feedback, investment in people, and financial growth for Harrison Drury. In September 2019, the firm was also named in the North West Legal 500, the legal industry’s coveted list of the region’s best law firms and lawyers.

John Chesworth, executive chairman of Harrison Drury, said: “It’s been a momentous year for the firm. We had a long-held ambition of making the Legal 500, a development that has already helped us to win new clients.

“We’ve been named in the North West’s best companies to work for and recruited more excellent people to come and work with us. Winning this award tops off the last 12-months perfectly and we dedicate it to our staff who are the people that make us great.”

Around 1,000 people attended the awards which recognise and celebrate the achievements of businesses across Lancashire. A total of 25 awards were handed out on the evening to businesses in a wide range of sectors.

The awards, now in their 10th year, are organised by business magazine Lancashire Business View.
