Work Experience at Harrison Drury

Harrison Drury’s Work Experience Programme is for University students looking for a work experience placement with an award-winning law firm. The programme provides opportunities to gain hands-on experience, develop knowledge and explore the careers available at HD. Students should note that work experience opportunities are one week in duration and the work is unpaid.
Who can apply?
This programme is aimed at those students in the third year of University education who are keen to gain greater insight into what a career in legal services may be like.
The Work Experience opportunities will be available through July to September each year. Specific details regarding each opportunity are available when you apply.
How to apply
Work experience placements are available from our Preston head office so we would encourage you to consider if you can reasonably commute to Preston city centre before applying.
Applications for work experience are open from 31 October to 31 January each year for the following summer. Please submit your CV and covering letter by email to recruitment@harrison-drury.com
Please ensure that you provide your availability and areas of particular interest in your application. We do receive many applications for work experience and whilst we will endeavour to acknowledge each application, if you have not heard from us within 4 weeks of the closing date you can assume that you have not been successful on this occasion.
What to expect
Our work experience programmes give you a taste of what it’s like to work with us. Supported by experienced managers, you will be shadowing colleagues and encouraged to ask questions to help you understand more about HD and a career in legal services.
