Harrison Drury appoints new trainee solicitor

Harrison Drury Solicitors has appointed University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) graduate, Sarah Cheetham, as a new trainee solicitor at its Preston office.

Sarah, from Charnock Richard, completed her degree in law at the university in 2009, before going on to study the Legal Practice Course, which she completed this summer.

During her contract as a new trainee solicitor, Sarah will work across Harrison Drury’s commercial departments including property, commercial litigation, employment law and company and commercial. She will qualify in 2012.

She said: “It’s great to be part of a firm that is committed to the training and development of its people. Businesses are still facing many challenges and I am looking forward to playing a part in helping our clients.”

Managing partner, John Chesworth, added: “UCLan’s legal school has an excellent pedigree and we are delighted to welcome Sarah. She already has a strong understanding of law and I am confident she will be an asset to Harrison Drury as we continue to grow as a firm.”
