Commercial PropertySaher recently joined the Commercial Property team after having qualified as a solicitor in a Manchester city centre firm. Prior to qualifying, he garnered 4 years of experience in commercial contracts and commercial property, including but not limited to commercial leases, acquisitions of commercial freehold buildings, secured lending, bridging finance, debenture agreements, licenses to occupy, and authorised guarantor agreements. He also has very vast experience in all aspects of residential property transactions.
Saher previously represented many high net worth Individuals (HNWIs), politically exposed persons (PEPs), and SPVs in the financing, acquisition, and disposal of commercial and residential property portfolios valued at up to £15m. He was the team leader of the real estate department, whose team was responsible for over 65% of the firm’s total revenue.
Saher was also part of the Housing and Regeneration (Property) team in a large regional law firm, representing registered providers of affordable housing in various aspects of property portfolio management and property transactions, including but not limited to commercial leases, licenses to occupy, sale of land, property stock management, newbuild plot sales, surrenders and regrants and the granting of rights and easements over land.
Saher has been acting for individuals and organisations in relation to:
- Commercial leases and licenses to occupy;
- Secured lending by way of legal charges and debentures;
- Sharia-compliant lending through Diminishing Musharaka and Commodity Murabaha;
- Commercial contracts for acquisitions and disposals of business goodwill and non-tangible assets;
- Commercial contracts drafting for share purchase agreements, conditional contracts for sale, loan agreements, debentures, legal charges, and business terms and conditions.
- Off plan sales of shared ownership leases and freeholds;
- Residential property acquisitions and disposals;
- Sales of residential properties subject to the Right to Acquire and Reserved Right to Buy schemes;
