Insolvency & RestructuringEbony Carter is a Paralegal in the Harrison Drury’s Insolvency & Restructuring team. She assists the team on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, supporting solicitors in advising Insolvency Practitioners, directors and other stakeholders who find themselves dealing with a financially distressed situation.
Her work includes assisting with case management, preparing legal documentation, liaising with clients and third parties, and supporting the progression of insolvency-related matters. She regularly communicates with clients and assists the team in delivering practical and effective solutions across a variety of scenarios.
Ebony obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Liverpool. During her studies, she developed a particular interest in Insolvency law, which led her to pursue a career in the sector. Prior to joining Harrison Drury in June 2026, she gained experience as a Litigation Paralegal at a national firm, further developing her legal knowledge and practical case management skills.
Ebony is keen to continue building her expertise in Insolvency and developing her long-term career within the field.
Outside of work you can find me…
Outside of work, Ebony enjoys spending her free time keeping fit by playing Tennis, attending Calisthenics classes and swimming. She also loves reading when she gets the chance, particularly crime novels!
