Professional Background:
Helen joined Harrison Drury’s dispute resolution department specialising in commercial litigation in September 2015. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2010, and since has worked at two large regional law firms; one in Norfolk and the other in West Yorkshire.
She studied European Law with French and then German at Warwick University, before completing her Masters in International Law at Sheffield University and going on to complete the Legal Practice Course part-time at BPP Professional Education in Leeds.
Helen now acts for clients in a wide range of commercial disputes. Client care is at the forefront of Helen’s work on a day to day basis and she seeks to advise clients to achieve the best outcome for their business. Recent disputes that she has worked on include those relating to shareholders, partnerships, supply of goods and services, issues with the acquisition of businesses, general contractual disputes, plus many more.
Personal Interests:
In her spare time, Helen enjoys keeping fit and can be regularly seen in Spinning and Zumba classes, amongst others.
She is a PADI Advanced scuba diver and has dived in exotic locations such as Egypt, Malta and St Kitts. Helen is also fanatical about reading and has been known to get through a book a day at her worst.
