Rob Kellock

Partner

Commercial Dispute Resolution & Avoidance

Having graduated from Leicester University with a Masters degree in Law, followed by a Commendation from the College of Law at Chester for his post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Rob enjoyed a broad, hands-on training in Preston, his adopted home. Rob qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and brings over 30 years’ experience of dispute resolution.

Having worked as associate solicitor and partner at Sutcliffe Reed Solicitors from 1998, Rob established Kellocks Solicitors in 2006 which he ran until August 2019. Rob then established a successful Freelance Practice in February 2020 to provide legal services to private individuals, and SMEs.

Throughout a distinguished career, Rob is a former President of Preston Incorporated Law Society, a final shortlist candidate for Solicitor of the Year in the national Law Society Excellence Awards, former vice chairman of the Lancashire Justice Delivery Group and former legal adviser, Director, vice Chair and national Chairman of the Porsche Club of Great Britain.

With a career long track record, Rob is able to assist in providing representation for both civil disputes and criminal prosecutions, to include motoring law. Rob continues to enjoy a strong reputation locally for his insight, his ability to secure positive outcomes for his clients and for his advocacy skills.

Outside of work you can find me…

Rob is a passionate supporter of motorsport and can often be found at weekends in the paddocks of some of the best known UK circuits. One day, he may even find the time to participate himself. Rob values time spent with his family and particularly enjoys walking in the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, especially if there is a decent pub at the end of the walk.

Harrison Drury is ranked by both Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500, two leading independent guides to the UK’s top legal firms and solicitors.

These guides highlight the solicitors who are providing the most cutting-edge and innovative advice to clients and we are ranked across our range of practice areas and people.
