Jessica Casson-Grave

Associate Solicitor

Commercial Dispute Resolution & Avoidance

Jessica is an Associate Solicitor in our Litigation team and acts for commercial and individual clients in a range of disputes including:

  • Contractual disputes, both business to business and consumer
  • Debt recovery and enforcement, including charging orders on property
  • Shareholder and partnership disputes
  • Contentious probate and disputes arising out of wills and estates
  • Disputes concerning land and property
  • Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Costs

Jess has advised in complex, technical areas such as electrical safety certification and is always prepared to do the research to understand the finer detail of the subject matter in order to advise effectively on the dispute. Although often dealing with complex and technical legal issues, Jessica favours plain English in her communications, tailoring her advice to her clients.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Jessica worked in a number of local businesses – from owner-run SMEs to market-leading national and international corporations – which gives her an understanding of the different challenges faced by our diverse range of clients.

Jess initially completed work experience at the firm in 2017 before joining full-time as a Paralegal after graduating from UCLan with a First Class integrated Master of Law degree in 2019, and qualifying as a Solicitor in 2022.

Jess is based in our Lancaster office but regularly travels to visit clients at our other offices and further afield.

Outside of work you can find me…

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and picnicking. She is also partial to a Netflix binge.

Thank you so much for your help and support.

You have been amazing. I would be happy to highly recommend you and your firm.

It was a pleasure doing business with you.

I am so grateful and relieved!

Thanks for your help with this which clearly pushed this along to this solution, I can’t tell you how much I am so grateful and relieved.

Two words… ‘Very impressive’.

Thank you so much for all your help and for keeping me steady when I wobbled.

I have really appreciated it.
