It’s not too early to mention Christmas…

Whilst some people cringe at Christmas being mentioned in November, most hospitality venues have been planning for this for some time. Therefore, it may be a timely reminder to ensure you have your legals in order for anything Christmas related.

We have received a couple of enquiries about external areas and possibly utilising these for ideas such as Christmas stalls including the selling of mulled wine and/or food together with themed entertainment. Whilst there are pockets of deregulation you can rely upon, you need to ensure you are entitled to use the same, and if not, you get any Temporary Event Notices (TENs) lodged in plenty of time.

If you are proposing to rely on TENs over the Christmas period, here are some important dates to bear in mind, but please try and use the standard TENs where possible as there is no appeal process for late notice TENs:

We have a team of solicitors across a range of legal disciplines all with significant experience in supporting businesses in the leisure sector. Meet our leisure sector team to see how our team can help support you. If you wish to subscribe to our leisure newsletter, please do so here.
