Annie strengthens Harrison Drury’s expertise in agricultural land and property disputes
Harrison Drury has further strengthened its expertise in resolving agricultural land and property disputes with the appointment of chartered legal executive Annie Akhtar.
Annie joins our land and property dispute resolution team from Country Land and Business Association, where she worked as a legal adviser. Before that, she spent four years at Michelmores LLP working in the firm’s agriculture team.
In her new role, Annie will be advising landowners, farmers and rural business owners on a broad range of land and property matters, including complex and often high-value disputes.

Joseph Mitchell, partner in our land and property dispute resolution team, said: “Annie is an excellent addition to our growing team which is now up to 14 members.
“As well as her deep experience and knowledge of the rural sector, she brings a practical, solutions-focused way of working that will help our clients understand their options and move forward with confidence.”
Annie added: “I’m excited to be joining a firm with such a strong reputation in the property sector and one that’s also known for its deep farming and rural sector expertise.
“Agricultural matters are rarely straightforward and understanding the commercial and personal pressures clients are under is often just as important as the legal advice itself. I’m looking forward to helping clients overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes.”
