Harrison Drury strengthens dispute resolution team

Share

Harrison Drury has expanded its dispute resolution team with the appointment of David Edwards as an associate solicitor.

David, who has specialist expertise in commercial disputes, property and employment litigation, and regulatory work, joins Harrison Drury from Blackpool-based Blackhurst Budd solicitors.

John Chesworth, managing partner of Harrison Drury, which has offices in Preston and Garstang, said: “We are building a solid reputation for our commercial litigation work across the North West, and further afield, and this has led to a need to strengthen and expand our dispute resolution team. To attract a litigator of David’s calibre is a massive boost for the firm as we continue to grow.”

David’s wide range of experience includes General Medical Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council cases, benefit fraud cases, and trading standards and food hygiene cases.

David, who lives in Poulton le Fylde, studied politics at Hull University and completed the Legal Practice Course at UCLan before joining Blackhurst Budd in 2005. He qualified as a solicitor in 2007.

Dispute resolution is just one of the areas of law that Harrison Drury specialise in. We have a team of lawyers across the North West with solicitors in Garstang, Preston, Lancater and, most recently, Kendal who carry vast experience in a number of law practices and will happily provide legal advice on almost all legal issues and guide you through complex law procedures when necessary.
