Harrison Drury grows commercial property team in Preston with double appointment
We’re pleased to announce the appointment of two new solicitors to further strengthen our commercial property team in Preston.
Matthew Mainds and Vicky Beaumont have both joined the team and will advise clients including property developers, housebuilders and construction companies, as well as private and public sector organisations across the region.
Matthew, who joins us from Barker Booth & Eastwood, has experience advising on acquisition and disposal matters across multiple sectors and will support our clients in managing transactions from instruction through to completion.
Vicky, who joins from Birchall Blackburn Law, has a strong focus on landlord and tenant work and will advise clients on negotiations, tenancy matters and the sale and purchase of commercial premises.
Matthew and Vicky join at a time of continued growth for our commercial property team and follow the recent appointments of Rebecca Parry as senior associate solicitor in Stoke-on-Trent and Josh Bragg as legal director in Manchester.
Hannah Hughes, partner and co-lead of our commercial property team, said: “Across all our offices we’re seeing rising demand for specialist commercial property support, so it’s important we invest in talented people who can assist our clients with practical and commercially focussed advice.
“Matthew and Vicky add further capacity to our team and we’re looking forward to supporting them both to gain a broad range of experience as they progress their career with us.”
Matthew added: “I was drawn to Harrison Drury for its well-established specialism in commercial property and also because of the reputation the firm has for looking after people. With my previous experience it feels like a natural progression and I’m excited to work with new clients and develop my experience within the firm.”
Vicky said: “I’d heard positive things about Harrison Drury and the service provided to clients, so it felt like a great opportunity for me. I enjoy working in commercial property and building relationships with clients, working closely to help them navigate a range of property matters and transactions.”
