George joined Harrison Drury in 2019, working out of the Lancaster office, having qualified with a local firm of solicitors in Lancashire in 2017.
George has extensive experience in relation to property matters with an emphasis on agricultural and commercial property. In addition to property, George has carried out complicated private client work including family trusts and substantial deceased estates with claims for APR and BPR. George has found this experience assists greatly with work he carries out for landed estates with complex ownership structures.
George’s specialism is in commercial property with an emphasis on rural property. George’s experience includes dealing with commercial tenancies, farm business tenancies, bona vacantia property, sale and purchase of commercial property and agricultural land, sale and purchase of residential property, easements, sale and purchase of property by auction and deeds of variation.
Since 2017 George has taken over the day-to-day management of his family’s Estate, which takes up a lot of his spare time. When not dealing with the Estate, George likes to spend time at his new house in Lancaster with his partner.
