Simon England, head of the property and construction team at Harrison Drury, said: “We continue to see strong levels of development activity across the region and this brings with it the need for high-quality advice. Silas has a broad range of experience and will further strengthen our property team in Kendal.”

Silas, who is originally from Blackburn and attended university in London, added “When looking to relocate to Kendal, Harrison Drury really stood out as a forward-thinking and modern law firm. They have a level of expertise that allows them to compete with the big city firms. It’s great to be part of the team.”

As well as funding and development work, Silas also has experience of advising pension fund trustees and undertaking management work on their property portfolios, as well as acting for energy and oil companies on acquisitions, disposals and occupational leases of their operational properties.
