Share

After just four months at the firm, John Chesworth has been promoted to managing partner.

John, from Preston, joined Harrison Drury Solicitors to head up its commercial property law division after spending 11 years at Brabners Chaffe Street where he worked his way up from a trainee to partner. He helped the firm to be ranked in the top tier of the Legal 500 for property litigation in the North West. John has previously worked for a number of high profile clients in the commercial property industry including Balfour Beatty, Laing Construction, the Highways Agency, the Ministry of Defence and Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

John said: “The firm has a huge opportunity to establish itself as one of the best commercial and private client law firms in Lancashire. Edmund will still play an active part in the management of the firm, but I hope my new role will allow me to implement some exciting plans and enable the firm to grow.”
