Harrison Drury clinches top business award

Lancashire commercial law firm Harrison Drury has been named as the leading law firm in the region at one of the county’s leading business awards.

The firm won the Legal Team of the Year accolade at the Red Rose Awards 2014 held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens last night, seeing off competition in the same category from Farleys LLP, Lance Mason, Napthens, Taylors, Vincents, Watson Ramsbottom and Woodcocks Haworth & Nuttall after being judged as winners by a panel made up of independent business experts and sponsors.

John Chesworth, managing director of Harrison Drury, said: “Our focus over the last few years has been on getting the right people and the right structure in place to give our clients the best possible experience from their legal provider. This has enabled the firm to grow significantly while helping our clients to achieve their goals. We are absolutely thrilled that our efforts have been recognised and this business award is credit to our staff.”

The Red Rose Awards evening, now in its fourth year, is organised by Lancashire Business View magazine to annually celebrate Lancashire business, commence and industry. 

This year’s event was attended by over a thousand people from businesses and organisations across the region and a total of 25 awards were handed out on the evening to businesses in a wide range of sectors.
