Amanda Marwood joins Harrison Drury property team

Harrison Drury has strengthened its commercial property team in Lancashire and South Lakes after appointing experienced lawyer Amanda Marwood.

Amanda joins the firm as an associate after four years with Thomson Hayton Winkley in Cumbria. Previously she worked for Temple Heelis, also based in Cumbria.

Amanda, who lives in Bolton-le-Sands, will be based at Harrison Drury’s Garstang office and will advise clients across the region.

She specialises in all aspects of property acquisitions and sales, commercial leases, security of tenure issues, conditional contracts, secured lending and development issues. She also advises on high-net-worth residential property matters.

John Chesworth, managing director of Harrison Drury, said: “This appointment further strengthens our commercial expertise in North Lancashire and South Lakes. Amanda brings a wealth of additional experience to the team in Garstang and we are pleased to have secured her services.”

A graduate from the University of Liverpool, Amanda Marwood also studied at Chester College of Law before qualifying as a solicitor in 2006.

Harrison Drury have office branches in Lancaster, Garstang and Kendal as well as a head office in Preston and are leading solicitors in a number of aspects of law.
