Business Administration Apprentice

We are seeking a Business Admin Apprentice to work alongside our current team at our prestigious Clitheroe office. Your learning and development will be a key focus of your apprenticeship role supported by enrolment in in a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship course. This academic training will provide a broad range of skills and knowledge which will be complemented by the practical experience gained from within our organisation. Time will be provided to complete relevant studies.
The overall purpose of this role is to provide support and assistance to the administration function of the office, to process incoming telephone calls and post without delay, using our IT and scanning software. Provide reception services to clients and other visitors in a helpful, friendly and professional manner and in all interactions ensure that the image and ethos of the firm is projected.
The role:
- Undertake photocopying and scanning tasks
- Distribute internal post
- Prepare outgoing post
- Greeting visitors and clients
- Screening telephone calls and taking detailed, accurate messages where necessary
- Booking meeting rooms
- Ordering stationery and office supplies when necessary
- Provide refreshments for client meetings
- Provide administrative support to members of the team as and when required
Skills and experience
- Previous administrative experience
- Good IT skills
- Experience with all Microsoft Office packages
- Willingness to learn
- Polite and Professional
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- GCSE or equivalent English & Maths at Grade 5 or above
- Ability to work as part of a team
