Four new trainees for Harrison Drury

As part of our annual intake of new legal talent, Harrison Drury are delighted to announce the arrival of four trainee solicitors, meaning we have now offered a total of 11 trainee contracts in the last two years.

Our trainee programme has significantly expanded in recent years alongside impressive growth for the company, with the latest training contracts offered to Gill Ashcroft, Emily Leeming, Robert Burn and Matthew Astley.

Emily joins Harrison Drury after 12-months working within the real estate team of a law firm in Cheshire and the University of Newcastle graduate will initially work with the employment law team.

Gill Ashcroft, who gained a distinction in both her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law, Manchester, will work with the divorce and family law department.

Robert, who has worked as a paralegal in the firm’s dispute resolution team since September 2014, will train with the residential conveyancing team, while Matthew, who joined the firm in June after four years as a senior manager at Citizens Advice Lancashire West, will gain experience with the dispute resolution team.
