Harrison Drury helps with firm’s intelligent move

Share

Harrison Drury has helped a Preston market intelligence, research and consultancy firm mark its 21st birthday with a move to a new office.

RCU Limited, which provides services to the further education and skills sector, has relocated its premises from Glovers Court to a new space at Tustin Court on Preston’s docklands.

The firm employs 10 people and its client base is made up of schools, colleges, local authorities, training providers, awarding organisations and governing bodies across the UK.

Harrison Drury advised RCU Limited  on the lease of the new premises.

Simon England, associate solicitor with Harrison Drury’s property team, said: “With the cost of education and training being a hotly-debated topic in the media, it’s more important than ever for further education providers to be able to access effective and accurate market intelligence to support their business.

“The quality of the support RCU provides has been key to its success and it’s always pleasing to see a local business thrive. It’s equally encouraging to see that RCU is remaining in Preston, reinvesting in the area and reaffirming its commitment to the city.”

RCU managing director Richard Boniface added: “We began our journey back in 1993 as a small independent researcher. Over the past 21 years we’ve grown in both strength and reputation and we’re now a national company.

“We wanted to move out of the city centre but still retain a presence here in Preston for the convenience of our local clients, so the docklands was the ideal location. The premises will also give us scope to grow further in the future.”

RCU provides research, data analysis and consultancy services to clients including Preston’s College, Myerscough College and Blackpool and The Fylde College.
