Share

Has your business been affected in any way by the floods caused in Lancashire and Cumbria by Storm Desmond?

Harrison Drury’s Lancaster office will be opening its doors to offer free advice to businesses affected by the severe flooding in north Lancashire and Cumbria next week.

The office, at 21 Castle Hill, opposite Lancaster Castle, will be running a free advice surgery on Thursday, December 17.

The surgery will run from 9am and 5pm and will work on an appointment basis, with 30 minute slots available with the firm’s corporate and commercial lawyer, employment solicitor and commercial property lawyer to discuss any issues in the wake of the floods.

John Chesworth of Harrison Drury said: “We have all seen the impact of the recent flooding on the news and we wanted to do something to help those businesses affected.

“We are great believers in supporting the communities within which we operate and these appointments are our way of helping out and giving something back.

“There are numerous issues which businesses could be affected by, it could be a landlord or tenant issue, employers or employees might need advice or businesses who have not been able to meet contractual agreements because of the flooding may need help on where they stand.”

To make an appointment with Harrison Drury call 01524 548994. Businesses making an appointment are advised to take any relevant documents to the meeting.
